Jackie "Jack" Thomas Dollins, of Kennett, son of the late Joe Dollins and Artie Martin Dollins, was born Nov. 10, 1937, in Lafe, Ark., and departed this life Thursday, Aug. 18, 2011, at Kennett, at the age of 73 years, 9 months and 8 days.
Jack married Carolyn Franklin on Oct. 22, 1960, in Bragg City, Mo.
He had worked at Emerson Electric for 40 years, and was a member of Abundant Life Assembly of God Church in Kennett.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Dollins, of Kennett; two sons, Mark Dollins and wife, Mayeth, of Holcomb, Mo., and Tim Dollins and wife, Cammy, of Lebanon, Mo.; one daughter, Rhonda Dollins, of Kennett; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Bill Dollins and Holly Dollins, both of Kennett; one sister, Betty Bradley, of Senath, Mo.; his mother-in-law, Eunice Franklin, of Dublin, Ga., and other relatives and many friends.
Jack was preceded in death by one daughter, Lori Dollins; one sister, Mabel Rush, and an infant brother, Donnie Dollins.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 20, at McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 21, at Abundant Life Assembly of God Church in Kennett, with Revs. David Vanderpool and Tim Dollins officiating.
Burial will follow in the Oak Ridge Cemetery at Kennett.
