Glenda Joann White, 73, of Malden died Sunday, August 14, 2011, at Cape Girardeau. She was a homemaker and a member of the First General Baptist Church.

Born in Campbell on December 11, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Henry Harp and Eva (Ayers) Harp. On March 18, 1956, in Campbell, she was united in marriage to Garland White, who survives of the home in Malden.

Also surviving are one son, Tommy White and wife, Jeanie, of Mt. View, Mo.; three grandchildren, Ryan White and wife, Bambie, Thomas White and wife, Melissa, and Mindy White, four great-grandchildren, Hunter White, Mason White, Adyson White and Remington White and one brother, Harold D. Harp and wife, Emma, of Campbell.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Melinda Kay White, one brother, Glen Harp and two sisters, Essie Wells and Evelyn Jackson.

Visitation was held Tuesday, August 16, at Landess Funeral Home in Malden. Funeral services will be conducted today, Wednesday, August 17 at 10:00 a.m., with Rev. Jonathan Rice and Bro. Howard Winberry officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery at Malden. Landess Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
