Lloyd "Doc" Franklin Dickens, 59 of Campbell, died on Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.
Mr. Dickens was born on February 7, 1952 in Campbell to the late James D. and Lorene Haynes Dickens.
He worked at Federal Mogul as a machine operator for thirty years and was a member of the Beechwell General Baptist Church in Campbell.
On August 6, 1989, in Campbell, he married Myrtle Workman. She preceded him in death on January 12, 2008.
His survivors include one sister, Mary Melton and husband, Bill of Piggott; Step-grandchildren; nieces; nephews and loving friend with whom he lived, Ellen L. Grossmeyer.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Emma Jean Dickens; two brothers, Charles J. (Cowboy) Dickens and Earl Leo (Snake) Dickens; and one nephew, Charles Adam (Chuckie) Dickens.
Visitation will be from 6 -- 8 p.m., Friday, at the Landess Funeral Home in Campbell. Funeral service was at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, August 6 at Landess Funeral Chapel in Campbell with Reverend Bruce Vinson officiating. Burial followed at Elder Cemetery in Campbell.
