Her extended family also includes many neices, nephews and friends.

In her neighborhood, she was lovingly known simply as "Granny." She was always ready to sit and talk with anyone who came by to visit or just to say "hello."

Berniece was a jolly soul who loved to tell stories of the good ole days. She had very clear memories of the hard times in the past and the good ones as well.

She worked hard to take care of her family and never complained about what she didn't have.

As a child, she was brought up in the ways of the Lord from her own beloved mother. She leaned upon God's strength for man sad times in her life and He brought her through them all.

Now she has gone on to be with those who left before her and the Lord whom she trusted all of her days.

She will be sadly missed by her family and all of those who knew and loved her.
