Drusilla Magdeline Davidson, daughter of the late William Sanders and Clara Brown Sanders was born on May 24, 1914, in White Oak, Mo., and departed this life Tuesday, July 26, 2011, at the age of 97 years, 2 months and 2 days.
Drusilla married Vessie Herbert Davidson on July 9, 1932. He preceded her in death on December 21, 1977. She was also preceded in death by three sons, Larry Gail, Jessie Earl and William Louis Davidson; three grandsons; one granddaughter; one great-grandson; one great-granddaughter and two brothers, Virgil Sanders and Obal Sanders.
Her survivors include two sons, Rev. Paul Davidson and wife, Helen, of Doniphan, Mo., and Vernon Davidson and wife, Francis, of Kennett; one daughter, Nelda Mitchell and husband Jerry, of Cape Girardeau, Mo.; 15 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; 27 great-great-grandchildren and other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., today, Thursday, July 28, at McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, July 29, at First United Pentecostal Church in Kennett with Revs. Ron Townsley, Darrell Faire and Paul Davidson officiating.
Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett.
Pallbearers are Terry Davidson, Austin Davidson, Paul Ray Davidson, Vernon Davidson, Mickey Blagg and Matt Davidson.
