Milam "Tennessee" Youngblood, son of the late Elmer Jacob and Fleetie Bearden Youngblood, was born July 10, 1935, in Itasca, Texas, and passed away Sunday, July 24, 2011, at his residence in Cardwell, Mo., at the age of 76.
He was married to Dorothy Bennett.
Survivors include five sons, Travis Youngblood, of Edmond, Okla., Big John Youngblood, of Tiptonville, Tenn., James Youngblood, of Amarillo, Texas, Thoman Youngblood, of Aberdeen, and Kenneth Youngblood; two daughters, Anita McBride, of Cardwell and Wanda Youngblood, of Clarendon, Texas; one sister, Patsy Flowers, of Union City, Tenn.; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. and continue to service time at 1 p.m., Saturday, July 30, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Senath.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, July 30, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ron Blankenship officiating.
Burial will follow in the Horner Cemetery at Hornersville, Mo.
Pallbearers are Wayne Whitaker, James Bird, Stacy Dolaney, Ray Hall, James Youngblood and Tracy Youngblood.
Honorary pallbearers are Anita McBride, Walter Bennett and Eddie Jones.
