Hallie Pigmon, daughter of the late Albert and Nora McCurley Stockton, was born Sept. 30, 1920, in Frisbee, Mo., and departed this life Thursday, July 21, 2011, at the age of 90 years, 9 months and 21 days.
She was an active member of Friendship Baptist Church for many years.
Hallie married Hershel Pigmon on Sept. 9, 1939. He preceded her in death on March 31, 1984. She was also preceded in death by four sons, Gary, Jimmy, Ricky and Jerry Pigmon and one daughter Debra Pigmon.
Survivors include her two sons, Danny Pigmon, of Kennett and Douglas Pigmon, of Holcomb, Mo.; one daughter, Yvette Moore, of Kennett; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild which is her namesake; one sister, Mary Presson, of Flint, Mich.; one special friend, Peggy Osmer, and other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m., Sunday, July 24, at McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, July 24, at McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chris Maynard officiating.
Burial will follow in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett.
Pallbearers are Darell Wheeler, Ricky Burton, Jerry Hall, Larry Hartsell, Ron Harris and Tommy Masterson.
Honorary pallbearers are Joe Lewellan, Gene Watts, Dean Tucker, Glen Earl Harris and C.E. Lemonds.
