Roland W. "Bill" Bradshaw, 86, of Kennett, passed away Monday, July 18, 2011, at National HealthCare in Kennett.
Born June 9, 1925, in Piggott, Ark., son of the late Harrison Bradshaw and Lillie Ann Simms Bradshaw, he was owner of Bradshaw Repair Shop, a member of the Masonic Lodge and Ely Baptist Church.
On Jan. 5, 1949, he married Carmeletta Tyler, who preceded him in death on Dec. 24, 1990. He was also preceded in death by two sons, Randall Scott Bradshaw and Roland Keith Bradshaw; three brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include one daughter, Susan Dearing and husband, Walter, of Kennett; one sister, Bobbie Overall, of Memphis, Tenn.; three grandchildren, Andrea Dearing, of Kennett, Shannon Moore and husband, Greg, of Vandalia, Mo., and Deanna Potter and husband, Robert, of Waterville, Mich.; six great-grandchildren, Travis and Tanya Moore, Kim Sirk, Chase Potter, Kristin Potter and Mya Potter, and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. till service time, Wednesday, July 20, at Bradshaw Funeral Home in Kennett.
Masonic services will be conducted at noon, Wednesday, July 20. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, July 20, at Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Dale Rickman and Bud Evans officiating.
Burial will follow in the Oak Ridge Cemetery at Kennett.
Pallbearers are Greg Moore, Tommy Walters, Brian Moody, Bubba Potts, Mike Whaley and Del McKie.
Honorary pallbearers are Randy Lytle, Doc Sinasa, Kenneth Dye, James Forte, Sonny Harkey, Rod Hargrove and Mark Dye.
