Born May 13, 1925, in Conran, Mo., son of the late John Henry and Bessie P. Scott Robbins, he was retried from McDonald Douglas of St. Louis, Mo., a member of the Aerospace District Lodge 837, International Associ-ation of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, and a U.S. Navy veteran, having served in WWII.
On March 16, 1956, in Hernando, Miss., he married Shelbia Tribble.
Survivors include his wife, Shelbia Tribble Robbins, of Kennett; his mother-in-law, Marie Tribble, of Portageville, Mo.; one son, Ricky Robbins, of England; two daughters, Barbara Dye, of Keokuk, Iowa, and Linda Jones, of Florida; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grand-daughters.
He was preceded in death by his parents; John Allen Edwards, his father that raised him; one son, Randy Robbins 2011; infant daughter, Diane Robbins in 1963; his brothers, Willie Robbins, Alfred Robbins, Clarence Robbins, Roy Robbins and Harry Robbins, and sisters, Georgia Rice and Ethel Brewer.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to service time at DeLisle Funeral Home in Portageville.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, June 29, at DeLisle Funeral Home with Revs. Sharon and Vernon Purser officiating.
Burial with military honors will follow in the Portageville Cemetery.
