She is affiliated with Spoonerville Baptist Church in Malden, Missouri. Born in Easton, Minnesota on September 19, 1924. She was the daughter of Fred and Eldora Apperley. She was married to Jack Seal on August 24, 1946, who preceded her in death in 1993. Surviving her in death are two sisters Lee Ward and Doris Keeley and sister-in-law Goldie Seal all from Michigan. Her son and daughter-in-law Jack & Janet Seal, two daughters and son-in-law Candy & James Machen, Carmel Seal. Four Grand children Taffy & Chris Davis, Jack Daniel Seal, Travis & Megan Dunn, Jessica Seal, Great grandchildren, Adopted daughters, grandchildren and friends.

Mary worked in AC plant in Michigan until the AC plant transformed to building bombsites during W.W.II where she continued to work. After W.W.II Mary and Jack bought and ran a local Taxi service in Flint, Mich. She then moved to Risco, Missouri where Mary and Jack bought and ran a Busy Bee Drive Inn "Bring your honey and buzz on in" and gas station and wrecker service "Don't cuss call us". After selling out and moving to "The Farm" in Campbell, she worked in the cotton fields for one day, realizing that she would rather work at Brown Shoe Factory where she retired. She was also a former member of Eastern Star and was an awesome bowler on her bowling league in the mid 60's early 70's. She made us laugh and smile until the end. She was well liked, loved and will be missed.

Visitation was held Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden. Graveside funeral services will be conducted today, Wednesday June 15, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery in Malden with Rev. Richard Blagg officiating. Burial to follow.
