Carol E. Zurhorst, daughter of Wanda McNew Sullivan and the late Joe Sullivan, was born July 29, 1943, in Poplar Bluff, Mo., and passed away Thursday, June 2, 2011, at Northeast Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro, Ark., at the age of 67.
On Feb. 26, 1967, in Poplar Bluff, she married Raymond Zurhorst.
Survivors include her husband, Raymond Zurhorst, of Cardwell, Mo.; her mother, Wanda Sullivan, of Poplar Bluff; two sons, Billy Canady and wife, Sherry, of Paragould, Ark., and James Zurhorst, of Cardwell; two daughters, Cathy Sessums and husband, Tony, of Cardwell, and Lynn Beard and husband, James, of Paragould; five brothers, David Sullivan, of St. Louis, Mo., and Joey Sullivan, Berry Sullivan, Tim Sullivan and Tony Sullivan, all of Poplar Bluff; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Sullivan.
Visitation will begin at 6 p.m., Saturday, June 4, at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Senath, Mo.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, June 5, in the Cardwell Cemetery with Levon Delee officiating.
Pallbearers are J.R. Zurhorst, Nicholas Beard, James Beard, Mark Winberly, Richard Lawson, Tony Sessums, Billy Canady and Mike Wellman.
