Warren Rickman, son of the late Wayne and Lula Mabry Rickman, was born June 2, 1940, in the Beech Corner Community near Senath, Mo., and passed away Saturday, May 7, 2011, in Cape Girardeau, Mo., at the age of 70.

On June 11, 1971, in Senath, he married Charlene Moser, who preceded him in death on April 3, 2008. He was also preceded in death by five brothers, Doyle, Ralph, Joe Harold, Eddie and Ronald, and three sisters, Edna Wayne Harvey, Katherine Owens and Zelda Smith.

He was a U.S. Army veteran, very active in the girls softball league, an umpire for many years, and he also loved the St. Louis Cardinals.

Survivors include four daughters, Jeanie Lawrence and husband, Tim, of Kennett, Monica Whitlock and husband, Bill, of Senath, Jennifer Rhodes and fiancÚ, Nick Gates, of Kennett and Stacy Rhodes and husband, Jackie, of Senath; one son, Charles Joiner, of St. Joseph, Mo.; one brother, Dale Rickman and wife, Joyce, of Kennett; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., today, Tuesday, May 10, at the First Baptist Church in Senath with Revs. Dale Rickman, Wayland Tom and Kevin Sullivan officiating.

Burial with full military honors was in the McGrew Cemetery at Senath.

Pallbearers were Joe McLain, Jeff Rickman, Micky Owens, Kenny Rickman, Kevin Rickman and Ronnie Rickman.
