Willie Louise Bateman, 86, of Bloomfield, formerly of Campbell, died Tuesday, March 22, 2011, at Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter.
She was a housewife and of the Baptist faith.
Born in Selmer, Tenn., on July 30, 1924, she was the daughter of the late James Willie and Eula Francis (Russom) Ingle. On Aug. 2, 1944 in Blytheville, she united in marriage to Kester R. Bateman, who preceded her in death on Nov. 4, 1981.
Also preceding her in death were her parents; one sister, Georgie Blowers and two brothers, Jesse Vernon Ingle and James Quinnon Ingle.
Surviving are two sons, Larry Wayne Bateman of Bloomfield and Roger Allen Bateman and wife, Barbara, of Bloomfield; four step grandchildren, Kris and Amie Chamberlain of Dexter and Joe and Shannon Ridings of Marble Hill, Mo.; four step great-grandchildren, Bailey and Drew Chamberlain of Dexter and Presley and Schell Ridings of Marble Hill; two sisters, Billie Taylor and husband, Harvey, of Lilbourn and Zola May Scarbrough of Campbell, and two brothers, Sonny Ingle and wife, Pat, of Bernie and Sherman Ingle and wife, Jackie, of Miss.
Visitation was held Thursday, March 24, at the Landess Funeral Home in Malden. Funeral services followed immediately in the funeral home chapel with Mr. James Powell officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery at Malden. Landess Funeral Home of Malden was in charge of arrangements.
