Tony Marvin Rouse, Sr., 63, of Fisk, Mo., died Sunday, April 24, 2011, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Mo.
Born March 18, 1948, in Giles County, Tenn., he served in the U.S. Army and was an auto mechanic. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, barbecuing out of the back of his truck and spending time with his kids.
On Oct. 17, 1998, he married Joanne Walker Rouse, who survives.
Survivors also include nine children, Tony and Gina Rouse, of Poplar Bluff, Tina Taylor and David Burnett, of Malden, Mo., Tommy and Christina Rouse, of Dexter, Mo., Lisa and Wayne Wright and Edward Rouse, all of Fisk, Crystal Walker, of Leachville, Ark., Wendy and Chris Huskey, of Blytheville, Ark., Eric and MyKyla Rouse, of Paragould, Ark., and Wayne Taylor, of Cardwell, Mo.; two sisters. Shirley Smith and Elizabeth Blanton, both of Piedmont, Mo.; two brothers, Michael and Michelle Rouse and Leon Summerlott; 28 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Lee Rouse and Flossie Louise Williams Rouse.
Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., Friday, April 29, at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff.
Burial will be held at 3 p.m., Monday, May 2, in the Oak Ridge Cemetery at Kennett.
