Juanita Jones, 92, died Monday, April 25, 2011, at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro, Ark.
Born Nov. 30, 1918, in Cooter, Mo., daughter of Printy and Dicey Hart Byrd, she was a member of the First Baptist Church in Blytheville, Ark.
She was the wife of a farmer, having married the love of her life, V.M. "Bub" Jones on Nov. 28, 1937. They had 62 years together before the Lord called him home. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, V.M. "Pee Wee" Jones, Jr.
Survivors include her children, Judy Ann Jones Crosskno and husband, Billy, of Blytheville, and Michael Gene Jones, of Rives, Mo.; a sister, Ruth Samford, of Steele, Mo.; grandchildren, Cathy Crosskno Snow, of Dallas, Texas, Lee Ann Crosskno Davis, of Memphis, Tenn., Deanna Jones Allison, of Cooter, Rick Jones, of Kennett, Chris Crosskno, of Blytheville, and Greg Jones, of Gray, Maine; great-grandchildren, Mallory Davis Dorrough, of San Antonio, Texas, Jake Davis, of Blytheville, Holly and Devin Jones, of Kennett, Courtney Jones, of Gray, Shelby and Quinn Crosskno, of Blytheville, and Logan and Sadie Snow, of Dallas, and one great-great-grandchild, Ella Clair Dorrough, of San Antonio.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday, April 27, at Cobb Funeral Home in Blytheville.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, April 28, at Cobb Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery at Steele.
