Margaret Luezine Crawford, 85, of Kennett, Mo., passed away Friday, April 22, 2011, at NHC Healthcare in Kennett.
She was born Aug. 6, 1925, in Dyersburg, Tenn., to the late Tollie Vinson Nail and Lila R. Pinkley Nail, and was a member of the Hornersville, Mo. Baptist Church.
On Jan. 20, 1945, in Paragould, Ark., she married Thurman Burl Crawford, who preceded her in death on April 27, 2002. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Everett, John, and Jimmy, three sisters, Ellen, Lala, and Martha Alice.
Survivors include one daughter, Rhonda Poole and husband, Steve, of Kennett; one sister, Phyllis Wheeler and husband, Odell, of Cahokia, Ill.; two brothers, Devon Nail and wife, Nancy, of Stevensville, Mich., and Leon Nail and wife, Jean, of French Link, Ind.; two grandchildren, Jamie Biby, of Kennett, and Samantha Parker, of Scott AF Base, Ill., and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday, April 25, 2011, at Hornersville Baptist Church with funeral services immediately following at 2 p.m. Rev Paul Moore will be officiating.
Burial will be in Horner Cemetery at Hornersville.
Pallbearers are Jamie Biby, Steve Poole, Dick Norton, Greg Griffin, Derek Nail, and Steven May.
