David Annon Risley, 68, of Campbell. Mo., passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2011, at St. Francis Medical Center at Cape Girardeau, Mo.

Born Nov. 14, 1942, in Campbell, son of the late Leroy Roland Risley and Dollie Iona "Onie" Vincent Risley, he was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, owner/operator of Risley's Silk Flowers in Campbell, a member of the C. Dolph Gehrig Post No.109 American Legion in Campbell, and a member of the Bernie Methodist Church.

On Aug. 31, 1968, in St. Louis, Mo., he married Edith Elizabeth Recker, who preceded him in death on Jan. 14, 2004. He was also preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Virginia Richardson.

Survivors include one son, Brian David Risley, of Springfield, Mo.; one daughter, Christie Anne Renner and husband, Scott, of Jackson, Mo.; one granddaughter, Jourdan Renner, of Jackson, and several brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and many friends and customers of his flower shop.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., today, Friday, April 22, at Landess Funeral Home in Campbell.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, April 23, at Landess Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Susan Marner-Sides officiating.

Burial will follow in the Elder Cemetery at Campbell.

Memorials may be made to the United Methodist Church in Bernie, Mo.
