Patricia Lee Tomlinson, 80, passed away Monday, April 18, 2011, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House.
Born April 9, 1931, daughter of Fred L. and Nona Ashcraft Penny, she attended Central Methodist University in Fayette, Mo., where she was a member of Pi Kappa Theta. She was also active in the Arkansas State University Touchdown Club. Patricia was a member of the Nettleton Baptist Church where she was active in the Women's Ministry, the Coed-4 Sunday school class and the Monday morning women's Bible study.
Survivors include her husband, Joe D. Tomlinson; four daughters, Penny Northcutt and husband, Jamie, of Atlanta, Ga., Cindy Watson and husband, Keith, of Wynne, Ark., Lesa Harris and husband, Bill, of Jonesboro, Ark., and Ashley Pinnix, and husband, Richard, of Belton, Mo.; two sons, Fred Maxwell Mathews and wife, Kay, of Springfield, Mo., and Joe E. Tomlinson and wife, Fran, of Jonesboro; one sister, Jane Hooker and husband, Charles, of McKinney, Texas; nine grandchildren, David DiPuma, Kristen, Alyssa and Jacob Watson, Michael Harris and wife, Becca, Margaret Ann and Maribeth Tomlinson, Shannon Northcutt and Lindsey Yates, and two great-grandchildren, Sara Grace Harris and Audrey Yates.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., Thursday, April 21, at the Langford-Bookout Funeral Home Chapel in Jonesboro.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m., Thursday, April 21, at the funeral home chapel with Rev. Stan Ballard officiating.
Burial will follow in the Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers are David DiPuma, Michael Harris, Jacob Watson, Keith Watson, Richard Pinnix and Bill Harris.
Honorary pallbearers will be the A.S.U. Touchdown Club, Nettleton Baptist Coed-4 Sunday school class and the Monday morning Women's Bible study.
