Kenneth Dale Wilkins, son of the late Ewell and Alberta Goodrich Wilkins, was born Aug. 13, 1950, in Leachville, Ark., and passed away Saturday, April 16, 2011, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould, Ark., at the age of 60.
On April 21, 1978, in Kennett, he married Doris Hicks.
Survivors include his wife, Doris Wilkins, of Cardwell, Mo.; two sons, Darren Wilkins, of Cardwell, and Don Barnard, of Walnut Ridge, Ark.; two daughters, Michelle Brannum, of Arbyrd, Mo., and Dione Barnard, of Cardwell; a special nephew, Joey Burdine, of Cardwell; two uncles, Gaylen Goodrich, of Chula Vista, Calif., and Bill Goodrich, of Piggott, Ark.; one grandson, Shayne Cole, of Arbyrd; one granddaughter, Hailey Rundel, of Arbyrd; two aunts, Christine McGrew, of Cardwell, and Doris McCoy, of Searcy, Ark., and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by three infant brothers.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., today, Tuesday, April 19 at the First Baptist Church in Cardwell with Rev. David Powell officiating and Rev. Dale Rickman assisting.
Burial was in the Senath Cemetery at Senath, Mo.
Pallbearers were Tommy Branch, Allen Williams, Randy Blankenship, David Furlow, Jimmy Sloan and Joe Romero.
Honorary pallbearers were Ed Meyer, Frank Case, Dr. John Stripling, Lindell Chilton, and J.R. Rogers.
McDaniel Funeral Home of Senath was in charge of arrangements.
