Edith Robertson, 86, of Kennett, passed away Friday, April 8, 2011, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.
Born Feb. 22, 1925, in Tallapoosa, Mo., daughter of the late Ira Gee and Grace Thompson Gee, she was a homemaker and a member of the Apostolic Church in Kennett.
On July 12, 1951, in Piggott, Ark., she married Joy Robertson.
Survivors include her husband, Joy Robertson, of Kennett; two sons, Roy Thomas Robertson and wife, Bonnie, of Kennett, and Bob Robertson and wife, Debbie, of Senath, Mo.; six grandchildren, Tracy Carver, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., Michael Robertson and Joy Rice, both of Cardwell, Mo., Sherry Barnes, of Springfield, Mo., and Melissa Farley and Larry Robertson, both of Kennett; eight great-grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Lloyd and Ted Gee.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Monday, April 11, at Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel in Kennett with Rev. David Henderson officiating.
Burial was in the Oak Ridge Cemetery at Kennett.
