Yvonne McDonald, 65, of Kennett, passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2011, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.
Born May 15, 1945, in Paragould, Ark., daughter of the late Noah Dortch and Vida Bryson Dortch, she was retired from the winding department at Emerson Electric, and was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church in Kennett.
On Sept. 24, 1966, in Paragould, she married Gary McDonald.
Survivors include her husband, Gary McDonald, of Kennett; one son, Brian McDonald and wife, Emily, of Cardwell, Mo.; two daughters, Tabitha Neighbors and husband, Gary, of Kennett, and Lisa Dean, of DuQuoin, Ill.; two brothers, Larry Dortch and wife, Cindy, and J.W. Dortch and wife, Betty, all of Paragould; three grandchildren, Jeremy Hyde, of Kennett, Allison Dean, of DuQuoin, and Bryson Neighbors, of Kennett; a step-grandson, Josh Neighbors; a special sister-in-law, Carletta Boggs and husband, Leonard, of Kennett, and a host of other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, R.L. and Lavoy Dortch, and one sister, Imogene Causby.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., today, Thursday, April 7, at Bradshaw Funeral Home in Kennett.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, April 8, at Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Dale Rickman and Bro. Danny Boggs officiating.
Burial will follow in the Linwood Cemetery at Paragould.
Pallbearers are Jeremy Hyde, Brad Bauer, Larry Dortch, Leonard Boggs, Marty Cato and Curtis Dortch.
Honorary pallbearers are Bryson Neighbors, Allison Dean, J.W. Dortch, Bob Holder and Gary Neighbors.
