Betty Faye Parker, 86, of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away Friday, April 1, 2011, at the General Baptist Nursing Home in Campbell, Missouri.
She was born January 10, 1925, in Holcomb, Missouri, and was the daughter of the late William and Anna Byrd.
She was united in marriage to Charles Henry Parker on October 2, 1949, and to this union three daughters were born. He preceded her in death on December 31, 1999.
She was also preceded in death by two daughter, Carolyn Kay Parker and Patricia Ann James; grandson, Scottie James; three brothers, and one sister.
Survivors include her daughter, Charlene Cook and husband J.D. of Piggott, Arkansas; four grandchildren: Penny Wahab and husband Zach, Wesley James and wife Natalie, Laura Wade and husband Stacy, and Stephanie Lott; many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday, April 4, 2011, at 1 p.m. in Hoggard & Sons Chapel with Jack Cole officiating. Burial is in Piggott Cemetery in Piggott, Arkansas. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. on Monday until service time. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas is in charge of the arrangements.
