Jearline "Gran" Davis, 89, of Paragould, Ark., died Friday, March 4, 2011, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould.
She was born May 13, 1921 in Dunklin County, Mo., the daughter of the late William H. and Vivian Cook Holifield. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Willis Davis; sisters, Jesse Mae Hardin and Kitty Faye Holifield.
Gran was a homemaker who loved ceramics, needlepoint, cooking, gardening and interior design. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Paragould.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Rusty Clark, of Jonesboro, Ark.; son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Tammy Davis, of Paragould; sister, Jo Vera McKelvey, of Branson, Mo.; brother, Bill Holifield, of Octa, Mo.; grandchildren, Christopher and Ashley Clark , both of Jonesboro and Logan Davis, of Paragould, and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday, March 5, at Heath Funeral Home in Paragould.
Her life will be celebrated at 2 p.m., Sunday, March 6, at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Tom Letchworth officiating.
Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett.
