Cleo Bert Brents, 93, of Pascola, Mo., passed away Sunday, Feb. 27, 2011, at Heritage Nursing Home in Kennett.
Born June 23, 1917, in Cleveland, Ark., son of the late Columbus and Dora Crow Brents, he was of the Baptist faith.
He married Elva Louise Brents, who preceded him in death July 26, 1990. He was also preceded in death by four brothers, Troy, Coy, Fred and Carthal Brents, and one sister, Ozella Freeman.
Survivors include one son, Jackie Brents and wife, Sharon, of Pascola; one daughter, Peggy Sellers, of Hayti, Mo.; one brother, Lawson Brents, of Kennett; one sister, Joy Elliott, of Las Vegas, Nev.; grandchildren, Kerry Brents and wife, Tina, Michaele Taylor, Rhonda Daugherty and husband, Colin, and Tommy Sellers; great-grandchildren, Dylon Taylor, Amber Brents, Kaleb Brents, Michaela Sellers, Curry Sellers, Tyler Daugherty, Andrew Sellers, Justin Daugherty, and Catelyn Chism., and one great-great-grandchild, Gavin Brents.
Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m., today, Wednesday, March 2, at Brimhall Funeral Home Chapel in Hayti, with Bro. Doug Wahls officiating.
Burial will follow in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett.
Pallbearers are Kerry Brents, Kaleb Brents, Tommy Sellers, Curry Sellers, Jimmy McQuen and Colin Daugherty.
Honorary pallbearers are Thomas Andrew Sellers, Justin Daugherty and Tyler Daugherty.
