Lula Harmon Jarrell, daughter of the late Vernie Owens and Ivory Johnson Owens, was born n Feb. 11, 1936, in Rector, Ark., and departed this life in the Cypress Point Healthcare at Dexter, Mo., Sunday, Feb. 20, 2011 at the age of 75.
Mrs. Jarrell was of the Assembly Of God faith, the co-owner of J and L Video in Dexter, a former employee of Purolator Filter Company in Dexter and a resident of Dexter. She enjoyed flowers and crocheting.
She was united in marriage to Jerry Jarrell on June 29, 1974, in Dexter. Mr. Jarrell preceded her in death on May 29, 2002.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Terry Harmon, of Dexter; one daughter and son-in-law, Phyllis and Jonah Rogers, of Dexter; one step-daughter and step-son-in-law, Terri and Bruce McClintock, of Michigan; one sister, Shirley Beck, of Rector; three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, one step-grandchild and seven step great-grandchildren.
Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one step-son, Charley Jarrell.
Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 23, at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.
Funeral services will held at 11 a.m., in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kent Kassinger officiating.
Burial will follow in the Sadler Chapel Cemetery,
