Mary Hasel Ricks, 84, of Campbell, Mo., passed away Monday, Feb. 14, 2011, at her residence.
Born March 13, 1926, in Walnut Ridge, Ark., daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin Thompson and Mary Idora Lacy Thompson, she was a retired nurse's aide for the General Baptist Nursing Home in Campbell, and a member of the United Methodist Church in Campbell.
On April 12, 1952, in Piggott, Ark., she married Erwin Redman Ricks, who preceded her in death on July 7, 1973. She was also preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Oather, Granoil, Rufus and David Thompson, and one sister, Zella Landis.
Survivors include two sons, Randy Mac Ricks and wife, Angela, and Mark Redman Ricks, all of Campbell; one grandson, Matthew Ricks, of Kansas City, Mo.; one brother, Lacy Thompson and Mary, of Bowie, Md., and one sister, Patsy Smart and husband, Glen, of Cape Girardeau, Mo.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 17, at Landess Funeral Home in Campbell.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 17, at Landess Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Fred Lewis officiating.
Burial will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery at Campbell.
