Lois Elaine Adams, of White Oak, Mo., daughter of the late Thomas Ingram and Minnie Gaultney Ingram, was born Aug. 4, 1917, in St. Francis, Ark., and departed this life Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2011, at the age of 93 years, 6 months and 11 days.
On Oct. 4, 1935, in Piggott, Ark., she married Augustine Adams, who preceded her in death on Jan. 31, 1994. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Bunt Ingram, Thomas Ingram and Jack Ingram and one sister, Ernie Roberts.
She was a member of Varner River Baptist Church.
Survivors include four sons, Ron Adams and wife, Peggy, of Millington, Tenn., Monty Adams, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., Tony Adams and wife, Jane, of Washington, N.C., and Rick Adams and wife, Joann, of Poplar Bluff; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren, and other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., today, Wednesday, Feb. 16, at McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 17, at McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dale Rickman officiating.
Burial will follow in the Stanfield Cemetery at Clarkton, Mo.
Pallbearers are Charles Wilson, Terry Fuller, Jerry Hicks, Henry Broglin, Danny Broglin and Lanny Broglin.
