He was born April 14, 1944 in Poplar Bluff, Mo., son of Doris (McDaniel) Stonecipher of Holcomb, Mo., and the late John Stonecipher.
He had owned and operated Missouri Food & Beverage, was a member of the Missouri National Guard for nine years, a member of the 4 Mile Masonic Lodge in Campbell, Mo., and a member of the Scottish Rite in St. Louis, Mo.
On October 29, 1977, he married Phyllis Lair; she survives of the home.
Other survivors include one daughter, Lori Laramore of Cape Girardeau, Mo.; and three grandchildren.
Friends may call Tuesday, Feb. 8, at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston, from 9 a.m. until time of Masonic Rites at 10 a.m. with funeral services immediately following. The Rev. Steve Moody will be officiating.
Burial will follow in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett, Mo.
