Bill Edgar Lee Eads --
December 10, 1940 to January 30, 2011.
"God loved me so much that he gave his only son for me. I believe in Jesus, therefore I will not perish. I have everlasting life."
Bill was born Dec. 10, 1940, in Proctorville, Ohio, to the late Charley and Lovina Eads. He was a loving and devoted husband to Marlene Eads for over forty years, residing in Gideon, Mo., for 12 years. As a brother he was a great mentor to Kay Davis, Chloie Adkins and Thomas Eads; a wonderful loving father to Timothy Eads, James Eads, Tammy Farmer, Jeannie Redman, Tanya LeBeau, William Eads, Gloria Sullivan, Tina Medley and Johnny Cleveland. He was a proud grandfather of 23 grandchildren and great- grandfather of 14 great-grandchildren. A kind and tender hearted friend, to all he met and he never met a stranger. He was a member of Abundant Life Assembly of God Church. And he had a great love for all his brothers and sisters in Christ, along with the youth group he so proudly worked with.
Bill passed away Jan. 30, 2011, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo. Bill was of Gideon, Mo.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., today, Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2011, at McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 2, at McDaniel Chapel in Kennett with Pastor David Vanderpool officiating.
Burial will be in Stanfield Cemetery in Clarkton, Mo.
Pallbearers are Frank Davis, Glen Moore, James Waynick, Travis Johnson, Michael Johnson and William Eads, Jr.
