Floyd Mason Hufford, son of the late Elzie Ethridge and Lilly Louveda Gough Hufford, was born March 9, 1926, in Glennonville, Mo., and passed away Friday, Jan. 21, 2011, at Heritage Gardens of Senath, at the age of 84.
On May 20, 1946, in Paragould, Ark., he married Irene Nicklson, who preceded him in death on Jan. 7, 2010. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Rulah Rockwell; a son, Floyd Hufford; three brothers and one sister.
Survivors include three daughters, Vicky Delaney and husband, Bruce, of Paragould, Gayla Jones and husband, Ralph, of Eolia, Mo., and Sandra Matthews, of Sacramento, Calif.; two brothers, Bill Hufford, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., and Willard Hufford, of Arbyrd, Mo.; three sisters, Bernice Guy, of South Dakota, Louella Callahan and Claudia Smith, both of Kennett; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren, and other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 23, at McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Senath, Mo., with Rev. Bill Newman officiating.
Burial was in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett.
Pallbearers were Jerry Hufford, Bradley Hall, Brian Hufford, Gary Briscoe, Donald Briscoe and Ray Briscoe.
