Ruth Burgess Lewis McNabb, 67, of Farmington, Mo., formerly of Piggott, Ark., passed away Wednesday, Jan. 19. 2011.
Born February 7, 1943, in Birmingham, Ala., she was the daughter of the late Thomas Harvey and Lizzie Etta Underwood Burgess.
She was united in marriage to Charles "Bud" Lewis in 1958 and he preceded her in death in 1982. She was united in marriage to Larry McNabb in 1991 and he preceded her in death in 2003.
She was also preceded in death by three brothers; Fred Burgess, John Underwood, and Lonnie Burgess, and one sister, Rachel Beatrice Burgess.
Survivors include two sons, Jerry Lewis, of Dallas, Texas, and Charles Gregory McNabb, of Farmington; daughter, Lillie Nadean Stevens, of Desloge, Mo.; six grandchildren; four brothers, Sonny Burgess, of Campbell, Mo., Frank Burgess, of Cape Girardeau, Mo., James Tabor, of McClure, Ill., and Dennis Tabor, of Pollard, Ark.; one sister, Mary Wyrick, of Paragould, Ark., and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 22, at Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home in Piggott.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 22, at Hoggard & Sons Chapel with Frank Burgess officiating.
Burial will follow in the Piggott Cemetery.
Pallbearers are David Burgess, Matt Burgess, Ty Burgess, Terry Burgess, Troy Burgess, and Scotty Davis.
