Pauline Jackson, 76, of Kennett, passed away Friday, Jan. 14, 2011, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.
Born April 4, 1934, in Tennessee, daughter of the late Isiah Harrison and Sarah Frances Essary Carnell, she was a homemaker and a member of the Providence Baptist Church in Kennett.
On May 28, 1970, in Corinth, Miss., she married Clayborn Jackson, who preceded her in death on May 8, 2000. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Audrane Carnell, Bob Carnell and Andrew Carnell, and two sisters, Kathleen Alexander and Sally Daniel.
Survivors include two daughters, Penny Puga and Beverly Jackson Davis, both of Kennett; two sons, Randal Scott, of Kennett, and Paul Scott, of Covington, La.; one brother, J.T. Carnell, of Lawton, Okla.; 17 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild, and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Monday, Jan. 17, at Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel in Kennett with Rev. Bob Taylor officiating.
Burial was in the Oak Ridge Cemetery at Kennett.
