He was a 1968 graduate of Southland High School, and until he became disabled, he worked as a Millwright at Nucor. He served in the United States Army from 1970 till 1972. One year of his service was a tour of duty in Vietnam.
Survivors include two daughters and son-in-law, Kiesha and Gary Bower, of Muncy Pa., and Paige Moore, of Arbyrd, Mo.; one sister and brother-in-law, Karen and Dale Coy, of Paragould; two grandchildren, Olivia Bower and Jackson Bower, both of Muncy; one nephew, Tommy Coy, of Little Rock, Ark., and two aunts, Rose Wilson, of Searcy, Ark., and Faye Roeder, of Adrian, Mich. He is also survived by a special friend, Linda Baldridge.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 26, at McDaniel Funeral Home in Senath, Mo.
Graveside services with full military honors will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, Dec. 27, in the Cardwell Cemetery at Cardwell, Mo., with Art Smith officiating.
