Robert "Bob" Earl Green, 71, of Malden died Saturday, Dec. 18, 2010, at his daughter's residence in Malden. He was affiliated with the First Assembly of God Church in Malden and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

Born on May 23, 1939, in Holcomb, he was the son of the late Fred Henry and Bertha Mae (Ham) Green and stepson of the late Otis Robinson. He was united in marriage to Caroline Sue Russell in Malden on July 12, 1958.

Survivors include his wife, Sue Green, of Malden; two daughters and sons-in-law, Jo and Kenny Mills of Malden and Kim and Bill Phipps of Dyersburg, Tenn.; one grandson, Michael Richardson and wife, Jerrica, of Malden; five granddaughters, Kendra Owens and husband, Waylon, of Bernie, Suzi Mathina and husband, William, Tami Petrie and husband, Danny, and Rhonda Ballard and husband, David, all of Dyersburg, and Pam Carpenter and husband, Les, of Doniphan; four brothers, Kenneth Robinson of Perryville, Eudell Robinson and Leonard Robinson, both of Campbell, and Frank Robinson of Dexter; six sisters, Fern Long of Gideon, Mavis Berry and Mina Chandler, both of St. Louis, Mary Ellen Boner of Bernie, Nelda Montgomery of Piedmont and Jerris Ann Harper of Springfield; 15 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Mack Green; one sister, Lola Louise Green; and one great-grandson, Ethan Paul Richardson.

Pallbearers were Larry Medlin, Rodney Berry, Forrest Busch, Mike Wagoner, Bob Fralick and Tom Hobgood.

Visitation was held Monday, Dec. 20 , at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden. Funeral services were conducted on Tuesday, Dec. 21, in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Bill Phipps officiating. Burial followed in the Stanfield Cemetery at Clarkton. Bradshaw Funeral Home of Malden was in charge of arrangements.
