Caryl Hooker, daughter of the late Elmer and Essie Ewing Tucker, was born May 27, 1916, in Greenfield, Ark., and passed away Sunday, Dec. 5, 2010, at St. Charles, Mo., at the age of 94.
She was married to Leo Hooker, who preceded her in death on Dec. 17, 1979. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Barbara Smithmier, and one sister, Elma Bley.
Survivors include a son, Warren T. Hooker and wife, Peggy, of St. Charles; four grandchildren, Vanessa Prinster, Debbie Newberry, Jeanie Bender and Warren Paul Hooker; eight great-grandchildren, Greg, Tim, Tyler, Danielle, Gracie, Brent, Kyle and Shelby, and other relatives and many friends.
Graveside services were held at 11 a.m., today, Wednesday, Dec. 8, in the Cardwell Cemetery at Cardwell, Mo., with Dwight Harrison officiating.
McDaniel Funeral Home in Senath, Mo., in charge of arrangements.
