Mary Jane Pearman, daughter of the late George S. Wininger and Arbelle Wallace Wininger, was born Dec. 15, 1921, in Flat River, Mo., and departed this life Sunday, Nov. 28, 2010, at the age of 88 years, 11 months and 13 days.
Mary Jane married Chester Pearman who preceded her in death in 2001.
Mary Jane was a charter member of the Adelphian Club, long time member of the First United Methodist Church, First United Methodist Women, First United Methodist Church Librarian, Dunklin County Library Book Review Club, P.E.O. Chapter-Kennett and Girl Scout leader.
Survivors include three sons, Chester E. Pearman, Jr. and his wife, Dorla, of Scottsdale, Ariz., George Timothy Pearman and his wife, Terry, of Allentown, Penn., and John Kevin Pearman and his wife, Cheryl, of Glendale, Ariz.; two daughters, Mary Liane Mathews, of Cleburne, Texas, and Debra Jane Hill and her husband, Rouss, of Caruthersville, Mo.; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; special niece, Marcia Lee Jones; special nephew, David Pearman, and other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., Friday. Dec. 3, at the First United Methodist Church in Kennett.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, Dec. 3, at the church with Rev. Gary Carter officiating.
Burial will be in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett.
