J.B. Wren, 82, of Gideon, Mo., passed away Thursday, November 25, 2010 at his residence in Gideon.
Born February 15, 1928 at Oil Trough, Ark., he was the son of the late William Wren and Sadie Hively Wren, and a veteran of the U.S. Army.
In December 1948, he married Wanda Lee McIntosh who preceded him in death July 19, 1990.
Survivors include one son, Bill Wren and wife, Gayle, of Fairview Heights, Ill.; a daughter, Cynthia Brigman, and husband, Bob, of Collinsville, Ill.; companion, Louise Winchester of Gideon, Mo.; five grandchildren, Shayna Kueker and husband, Shawn, of Shilah, Ill., Jason Soto of Collinsville, Laura Hawke and husband, Jason, of Greenville, South Carolina, and Kelly and Brett Wren of Fairview Heights; four great-grandchildren, Seth and Vivienne Kueker, Trajan Hawke and Eden Soto.
Visitation will be held at 1 p.m., until service time on Sunday, November 28 at Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden, Mo.
Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m., at the Bradshaw Chapel with Rev. Tim Stanfield officiating.
Burial will be held at Lakeview Cemetery in Fairview Heights, with graveside services being held at 1 p.m., on Monday, November 29.
