William Louis Davidson, of Kennett, son of Drusilla Magdaline Sanders Davidson and the late Vessie Herbert Davidson, was born March 28, 1939 in White Oak, Mo., and departed this life Thursday, Nov. 18, 2010, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett, at the age of 71 years, 7 months and 21 days.
Survivors include four daughters, Rene Middendorff, of Terrell, Texas, Lori Forker of Rockwall, Texas, Cynthia Birly, of Florissant, Mo., and Paula Cowart, of Malden, Mo. ; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; his mother, Drusilla Davidson, of Kennett; two brothers, Paul Davidson, of Doniphan, Mo., and Vernon Davidson, of Kennett; one sister, Nelda Mitchell, of Cape Girardeau, Mo., and other relatives and many friends.
William was preceded in death by a sister in infancy, Elizabeth Ann Davidson and a brother, Jess Davidson.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 20, at McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 21, at the First United Pentecostal Church in Kennett with Revs. Carroll McGruder and Don Sheerin officiating.
Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett.
Pallbearers are Joshua Middendorff, Justin Middendorff, Joseph Keel, James Keel, Brandon Cowart and Terry Davidson.
