Larry Gene Maronay, 32, of Wappapello , Mo., died Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2010, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
The son of Ed and Shirley Maronay, he was born Nov. 15, 1977, in Blytheville, Ark.
Surviving are his parents, Ed and Shirley Maronay, of Wappapello; three brothers, Christopher Maronay and his wife, Kim, of Dexter, Mo., Eddie Maronay and his wife, Ginger, of Wappapelo, and Steven Maronay; his grandmothers, Christiane McElyea, of Kennett and Enealy Maronay, of Wardell, Mo.; five nephews, Gordell Maronay, of Dexter, Eddie Maronay, Seath Maronay, Josh Maronay and Jonathan Maronay, all of Arkansas; an uncle, Larry Gene Dudley, of Caruthersville, Mo., and many relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Virgil McElyea of Kennett and Charles Maronay of Wardell, and an uncle, Kerry Maronay of Texas.
A memorial service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 14, 2010, at the Lake Wappapello United Methodist Church.
