Beverly Ann Rucker Braswell, daughter of the late Ernest William Rucker and Katherine Pyron Rucker, was born Jan. 10, 1942 in Kilmichael, Miss., and departed this life Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2010 at the age of 68 years, 9 months, and 24 days.
Beverly married John L. Braswell on April 30, 1983.
Survivors include her husband, John Braswell, of Kennett; three brothers, Bill Rucker and his wife, Connie, of Oxford, Miss., Richard Rucker and his wife, Mary, of Lake Placid, Fla., and Percy Rucker and his wife, Liz of Murfressboro, Tenn.; two sisters, Linda O'Bannon and her husband, Chuck, of Parsons, Tenn., and Rena Beth Burton and her husband, Glenn, of Vicksburg, Miss.; three nephews; one niece, and other relatives and many friends.
Beverly was a graduate of Kilmicheal High School and attended Delta State University. She was a professional photographer, being co-owner of Brasher-Rucker Photography in Memphis, Tenn. She was also a professional model, talented musician and gifted artist.
Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 6, at McDaniel Funeral Service in Kennett.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tom Williams officiating.
Burial will follow in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett.
Pallbearers are Glenn Burton, Justin Burton, John Rucker, Jim Steward, Tom Vavak, Dave Remley and Tony Smee.
