Mr. Blagg was born Aug. 21, 1948, in Poplar Bluff, Mo. He worked several years for Basler Electric in Corning, Ark. Upon leaving Corning, Mr. Blagg owned and operated Blagg's Farms for 25 years. He was of the Baptist faith.
On July 19, 1968, he was married to Connie Karnes. She survives him. Also surviving are his children, Timothy Blagg, of Paragould, Ark., Walter Blagg, of West Plains, Mo., and Ivy Wooldridge, of Cardwell; his mother, Doris Blagg, of Corning; two brothers, Frank Blagg, of Carthage, Mo., and Leon Blagg, of Willow Springs, Mo.; one sister, Darlene Dawsey, of Corning. Mr. Blagg also leaves behind five grandchildren, Destiny Fox, Zoe Blagg, Derrick Blagg, Hoyt Wooldridge and Remi Blagg, and two great-grandchildren, Cambree and Isiah Martin.
Family visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., Sunday, Nov. 7. Public visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 7, at Heath Funeral Home in Paragould.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 7, at Heath Colonial Chapel with Rev. Donnie Fowler and Kurt Blagg officiating.
