Karen S. Stout, 51, of Malden died Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2010, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. She was a school teacher for the New Madrid Central Middle School and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Malden.

Born. May 27, 1959, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of Loyd and Macy B. (McMillian) Stout.

She is survived by one son, Dustin Stout, and wife, Annie of Malden; one daughter, Sarah Samons and husband, Jon, of Malden; her mother, Macy B. McMillian Stout of Malden; four grandchildren, Keaton Samons, Jaylyn Samons, Sadie Stout and Lily Samons; four brothers, Danny L. Stout of Collinsville, Ill., Dennis R. Stout of Barnheart, William Kevin Stout of St. Louis and Rick Stout of Weston; three half-brothers, Tim Stout of Florida, Jeremy Stout of St. Louis and Lane Stout, also of St. Louis; and one half-sister, Mya Stout of St. Louis.

Preceding her in death were her father, Loyd R. Stout; and a brother, Michael Stout.

A memorial services was held Saturday, Oct. 30, at the First Presbyterian Church in Malden with the Rev. Paul Williams officiating. Landess Funeral Home of Malden was in charge of arrangements,

The family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society of Visiting Nurses Association.
