From 1964 until 1968 he served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War and was aboard the USS Saratoga.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and one brother.
Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Gail Case, of the home; daughters, Ashlie Case Patton and husband, David, of Portageville, Mo., and Allison Case, of Jonesboro, Ark.; brothers, Roy Case, of Lincoln, Neb., and Richard Case of Risco, Mo.; sister Joy Talley, of Malden, Mo., and two grandchildren, Casen and Calin Patton.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., today, Wednesday, Oct. 20, at The Rock of NEA, 4318 E. Johnson, Jonesboro, Ark.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 21, at The Rock of NEA, with Pastor Terry Watson and Pastor Jeff Watson officiating and Emerson Funeral Home of Jonesboro in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers are Johnny McCormick, John Starnes, Buster Campbell, Gale Yates, John Michael Gordon, and Perry Hobbs.
Honorary pallbearers are Tony Stubblefield, Dennis Finch, Dennis Perkins, Tony McCormick, Dr. Rick Neeley, Terry Ramsey, Greg Rainwater, Kris Kelton, Dr. Dennis Parten, former girls' basketball players, students and Riverside staff and administration.
Burial will be in Caraway Cemetery.
