Eunice L. James, daughter of the late Odie V. Toole and Ola Belle Ham Toole, was born March 10, 1920 in Gideon, Mo., and passed away Friday, Oct. 15, 2010, at the age of 90.
Eunice married Loyd James Jan. 23, 1939, in Senath, Mo. Loyd preceded her in death in 1999.
Survivors include one daughter, Brenda Wheeler and her husband, Darell, of Kennett; two grandchildren, Mark Wheeler and his wife, Tena, of Ozark, Mo., and Greg Wheeler and his wife, Christy, of Kennett; four great-grandchildren, Stephanie Hart and her husband, Travis, of Ozark, Shawn Waugh and her husband, Justin, of Rector, Ark., Jennifer Horton and her husband, Ed, of Kennett and Shannon Wheeler, of Kennett; three great-great-grandchildren, Brennan, Braden and Brianna Hart; one brother, Rex Toole and his wife, Dorothy, of Jefferson City, Mo., and other relatives and many friends.
Eunice was preceded in death by five brothers, Owen, Boyce, Benny, Randol and Gary Toole.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., today, Tuesday, Oct. 19, at McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Kennett with Revs. Chris Maynard and Denny Brown officiating.
Burial was in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett.
Pallbearers are Johnny Bogle, Ken Smith, Rick Burdin, Charles Anderson, Gene Watts and Gerald Pickens.
