Charles William Pelts, son of the late Lee Pelts and Eunice Norman Pelts, was born June 27, 1930 in Caruth, Mo., and departed this life Friday, Oct. 15, 2010, at the age of 80 years, 3 months and 18 days.
Charles married Daisy Jacobs.
Survivors include four daughters, Diane Spencer and her husband, Sam, of Ozark, Mo., Leane Gibbons and her husband, Bruce, of Kennett, Deborah Cook and her husband, Steve, of Kennett, Kristi Carter and her husband, Tommy, of Hernando, Miss.; one brother, Joe Pelts, of Kennett; two sisters, Patsy Hively, of Kennett and Phyllis Faulman, of Chicago, Ill., six grandchildren;three great grandchildren, and other relatives and many friends.
Charles was preceded in death by one brother, Lee Pelts, Jr.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 17, in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett with Revs. Ed Jansson and Tommy Jacobs officiating.
Pallbearers are Bruce Gibbons, Steve Cook, Tommy Carter, Adam, Alex and Sam Spencer, Kevin Hardee, Ed Davis, Eules Hively and Clayton Gibbons.
