Born on October 2, 1955, he was the son of the late Ruben Marlin Goff and Shirley Davidson.
He was married to Betty Gonzalez, who survives the home, and was a farm laborer by trade. He was also a member of the Hornersville Volunteer Fire Department and served on the Hornersville City Council.
Other survivors include three daughters, JoBeth Patterson, Jessica Goff and Evelyn Rodriguez, all of Hornersville; three brothers, Tony Goff, of Paragould, Ark., Greg Goff, of Hollywood, Mo., and Jeff Goff, of Steele, Mo.; six sisters, Charlotte Hallmark, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., Beverly Ozbun and Angie Kitchens, of Senath, Mo., Jennifer Goff, of Buckeye, Mo., and Marla and Erin Mitchell of Mississippi; and four grandchildren, Conner and Cooper Patterson, of Hornersville, Spencer Goff, of Hornersville, and Adrian Arjona of Hornersville.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, October 11, 2010 at the Hornersville First Baptist Church with Bro. Paul Moore officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Flo and Phil Jones Hospice in Jonesboro, Ark.
Bradshaw-Emerson Funeral Home in Hornersville is in charge of funeral arrangements.
