Rozelle Williams, formerly of Kennett, daughter of the late Baxter Williams and Lora E. Green Lane, was born Jan. 19, 1925, in Kennett, and departed this life Saturday, Oct. 2, 2010, at the age of 85 years, 8 months and 13 days at Paragould, Ark.
Rozelle married Wilson Williams in 1944. Wilson preceded her in death in 2008.
Survivors include one son, Ted Williams and his wife, Diane, of Kennett; one daughter, Terry Guthrie and her husband, Ken, of Arbyrd, Mo.; three grandchildren, Lori Clay and her husband, Jim, of Paragould, Keith Guthrie and wife, Shane, of Arbyrd, and Julie Crowder, of Kennett; two great-grandchildren, Blake Guinn, of Paragould, and Kelton Wilson, of Arbyrd; two brothers, Dennis Wynn and Lee A. Williams, both of Texas; one sister, Betty Hinesly, of Hornersville, Mo.; several nieces and nephews and other relatives and many friends.
Rozelle was preceded in death by a son, Brent Williams.
Visitation was held Sunday, Oct. 3, at McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Monday, Oct. 4, at McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Kennett with Bro. David Vanderpool officiating.
Burial was in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett.
Pallbearers were Gary Miller, Glenn Kitchens, Mike Mungle, James Waynick, Ken Crawford and Frank Williams.
