Mary Nell Kennedy, 80, of Fordland, Mo., passed away Saturday, Sept. 11, 2010, in her home. She had moved from the Poplar Bluff, Mo., area to Fordland eight years ago where she was a homemaker and member of the Fordland Christ Church.

She is survived by her children, Larry Don Kennedy, of Fordland, Carolyn Jones and her husband, Wendel, of Willard, Mo., and Mary Lynn Russell and her husband, Larry Wayne, of Springfield, Mo.; four grandchildren; one great-grandson; three sisters, Amy Ruth Pierce and Ophelia Pierce, both of Springfield, and Dora Brady, of Reno, Ariz.; four brothers, Charles and George Archer, both of Kennett, Finnis Larry Archer, of Redding, Calif., and Carrol Archer, of Bragg City, Mo.; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 7 p.m., today, Tuesday, Sept. 14, in Holman-Howe Chapel in Seymour, Mo., with Rev. Mitchell Wright officiating.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 15, in the Oak Ridge Cemetery at Kennett, under the direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Seymour.

Visitation will be held at 6 p.m., today, Tuesday, Sept. 14, until service time at 7 p.m., in the funeral home.
