Kendell Paul Miller, 47, of Gideon, Mo., died Friday, Aug. 6, 2010, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.

Born June 25, 1963, in Chicago, Ill., son of Betsy Jane White Miller and the late James "Jay" Miller, he was a farmer.

On April 4, 2008, in Caruthersville, Mo., he married Connie Gail Ward.

Survivors include his wife, Connie Miller, of Gideon; two sons, Robbie Thompson and wife, Mary E., of Gideon, and Russell Thompson and wife, Mary L., of Clarkton, Mo.; one step-daughter, Stephanie Ward, of Gideon; two step-sons, Brandon Hicks, of Manila, Ark., and Nicholas Hicks and wife, Samantha, of Pocahontas, Ark.; his mother, Betsy Miller, of Stuttgart, Ark.; one brother, Michael Miller, of Clarkton; four sisters, Paula Bailey, of Ulm, Ark., Mary North and Rita Anthony, both of Stuttgart, and Debbie Avery, of Henderson, Nev.; eight grandchildren, and one great-grandson.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Paul Miller.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Monday, Aug. 9, at Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel in Malden, Mo., with Rev. Bill Garrett officiating.

Burial was in the Stanfield Cemetery at Clarkton.
