The event sweeps into Memphis, Tenn., for five performances at the FedEx Forum, beginning on Friday, Sept. 24 and continues through Sunday, Sept. 26, 2010.

There will be more than 50 Disney characters from 16 Disney stories live on the ice to entertain young and old alike. The newest show is filled with action and will include a magical medley of celebrations from around the world. Set to the beat of contemporary music, young and old alike will be able to sing along to their favorite Disney songs.
Included in the line up is Tiana, the newest princess from Walt Disney Pictures, "The Princess and the Frog," an animated comedy that presents a new twist on the classic fairy tale. The storyline includes a young girl named Tiana and a frog prince who desperately wants to be human again. A fateful kiss leads the two on a hilarious journey through the mystical bayous of Louisiana. This will be the first time that audiences have seen Princess Tiana and Prince Naveen live on the ice.
Also included in the production will be an original storyline, brilliant costumes and lots of high spirited, high energy action. Spectators will be taken on an exciting world tour to far away exotic places such as Brazil for the Carnivale parade and Japan for a Cherry Blossom festival.
Audiences are encouraged to come out and make an ordinary day into something special by enjoying some of the world's most popular festivities. Events that the whole family will enjoy include, a winter wonderland with Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse, a Halloween haunt with the Disney Villains, a Hawaiian luau with Lilo and Stitch, a Valentine's Royal Ball with the Disney Princesses, a Very Merry Unbirthday Party and much, much, more in one unforgettable celebration.
According to Producer Kenneth Feld, "Disney On Ice presents Celebrations," gives families a reason to celebrate no matter what time of year it is. This uplifting and unforgettable spectacle showcases different celebrations around the globe, and families will walk away remembering to celebrate the everyday joys and successes in their lives."
"Audiences are going to love this colossal celebration," according to Producer Nicole Feld, "We take the most exciting holidays and special events and pack them into one monumental show. You can travel the world in style and experience all the fun and excitement with your favorite Disney characters, including the newest Disney Princess, Tiana."
Other productions by Feld Entertainment that will be playing in North America this fall includes, "Worlds of Fantasy," "Disney/Pixar's Finding Nemo," "Princess Classics," "100 years of Magic," "Disney Live! Rockin'Road Show" and "Playhouse Disney Live!"
Performance schedules are as follows, 7 p.m., on Friday, Sept. 24, 2 p.m., and 6 p.m., on Saturday, Sept. 25, and the final performances will be at 1 p.m., and 5 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 26. Ticket prices are $15, $21, $33, and $50.
